Actor Rejects Anti-Vaccine Position Following Lending His Voice To Contentious Covid Documentary

The acclaimed actor has provided his voice to a recent film that questions the safety of vaccinations and lauds one-time health official Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Feature's Contentious Foundation

Called "Plague of Corruption," the project is inspired by a well-known publication published by a controversial scientist, who became famous during the pandemic for allegations that Covid was a result of a bad strain of the flu vaccine.

Her writing partner, Kent Heckenlively, has previously authored books with controversial media personality a known commentator. He wrote online celebrating Neeson's role in the documentary.

A Firm Rebuttal

A spokesperson for the actor have provided a statement firmly refuting claims that he supports anti-immunization sentiments.

"Many understand that corruption may occur within the drug industry, but that should never be confused with rejection of vaccines," the comment reads. "Liam is not, and is not, anti-vax. His considerable work with the global charity highlights his long-held support for public-health initiatives."

The statement added that the performer had no hand in the film's narrative and that inquiries about its content ought to go to the creators.

Major Claims In the Film

According to the documentary, the voiceover spoken by Neeson features several strong statements:

  • It states that pro-vaccine voices have demanded "complete compliance" to government bodies.
  • It posits that "research has become deeply politicized."
  • Kennedy is shown saying, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they are not safely tested."
  • It further attacks pandemic restrictions, claiming they caused mental anguish that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Regarding pandemic shots, it cites a perspective that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "risky trials."

Historical Context and Recent Disputes

The documentary also references a past television report about HIV drug testing on children, which was later the focus of a correction by the broadcaster for violations of guidelines.

In recent weeks, RFK Jr called on the CDC to revise its official position that there is no link between vaccines and autism spectrum disorder. This supposed link is repeated in the documentary, despite a recent study from the global health body reiterating no connection has been found.

A Previous Statement of Endorsement

Differing from the documentary's narrative, Neeson has formerly voiced strong support for vaccines in his role as a Unicef global ambassador.

Previously, he called vaccines as "an incredible human success story," stating that "The debate about vaccines in the past few years has forgotten how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in history."

The film finishes with Neeson's narration stating, "This marks not the finish of our story. Rather, it is the dawn of a new chapter."
