JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution is not precisely an original film. Rather, the newest movie from the Jujutsu Kaisen action franchise acts as a recap of the show's sophomore season merged with the first two episodes of its upcoming season, which kicks off the Culling Games storyline from the original manga. This establishes Execution, which just got a fresh preview, the quickest way to watch the beginning of the next season ahead of its 2026 January debut. The movie premieres in Japanese theaters on November 7, and in the United States and Canada on December 5.

Viewers knew about the production challenges, which made them value what they saw even more.
