The leader of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, is set to sell around 270 presents received by her by world leaders during her travels. The presents, collectively, are worth an estimated €800,000. They are scheduled to be put up for sale via competitive bidding by a Italian fine art auction house. The discussion focused on if a rule restricting expensive presents was being respected. By law, a prime minister cannot take home presents exceeding €300.

"Possibly the most unusual gifts included the Milei figurine and the blue python skin shoes," one might note.
