A previous senior officer of the Britain's aerial defense command will report back next month on how the state-backed organization can best support the scope of official artificial intelligence goals in national security, homeland protection and information gathering.

The organization's leader, a former Amazon UK boss, confirmed that 78 different research projects at the 440-staff institute have been terminated, transferred out or finished because they fail to match with the revised strategy.
